Meet Keith Moore

As a Certified Rolfer® Keith Moore works in the Ten Series model developed by Dr. Ida Rolf, which he enjoys sharing with those new to structural bodywork. He completed the certification program at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado, then further refined his skills through a mentorship with Advanced Rolfer and Rolf Institute Faculty Rebecca Carli. Additionally, Keith has over two decades of experience as a massage therapist and has taught Ashtanga yoga in the Washington area since the late 90s. Throughout his career, Keith has worked with almost every body type–from professional dancers and NFL football players to novice yogis and those new to sports and movement.

In 2002, after five extended trips to India, Keith was formally authorized to teach Ashtanga yoga by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. He later co-founded and ran the Ashtanga Yoga Studio DC for many years before moving the studio online during the pandemic. In addition to Rolfing and online yoga classes, Keith offers private, one-on-one yoga instruction at Restore Motion Physical Therapy in Rockville.

Outside the studio, Keith enjoys all forms of movement—from ultramarathons to rock/ice climbing to windsurfing and cycling. Recently, he has been working out with an Olympic weightlifting club and spending time with functional fitness coaches as ways to experiment with movement.

“Keith is kind and patient and encourages clients to challenge themselves. In his practice, you’ll find people of all ages and abilities surprised and delighted at what their bodies are capable of.” -Stephanie
